1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someone’s eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someone’s eyes when they are telling you how they feel.

~ Looking into someone’s eyes when they are telling me how they feel. If it's something I'm telling them from my heart, I totally mean it.

2.  Think of the last time you were REALLY angry.  WHY were you angry?  Do you still feel the same way?

~ Honestly? I was REALLY angry at my cell phone, which has my internet on it, about 5 minutes ago! I hate when it plugs up and slows down on me  I got my mind off of what I was trying to do at that moment by going into something else.

3.  You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane.  You have enough time to make one phone call. Who do you call?  What do you tell them?

~ My sister, "I guess I'll be stopping in to see you any moment now! My plane's about to crash, I'll see ya from the other side!"

4.  You are at the doctor’s office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live.  Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?

~ I would probably tell my sister okay I will probably even put it on Facebook just to have something to write about I would probably live my last for maintaining days the same way I live my days now just chilled out in my living room alone I would ask my sister if I could have $100 so I could go out to eat to wherever I would like and see one last movie I would not be afraid I would be very very curious as to what

5.  You can have one of the following two things.  Which do you choose?  Why?  Love and Trust.

~  Trust, trust is very important. It takes a lot for me to trust someone completely. I tend to love people I've already come to trust, but there are times I find I can't trust people that I felt love for.

6.  You are walking down the street on your way to work.  There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street.  Your boss has told you that if you are late just one more time you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dog’s life?  Why? Why not?

~ Absolutely. The dog needs my help more than any boss could at this moment.

7.  Would you rather be hurt by the one you trust the most or the one you love the most?

~ Probably the one I trust the most because if the one I trust the most hurt me, it will leave me with the question, "Who can I turn to now???" They would have had to do a lot for me to totally trust them in the first place. I believe it's easier to gain my love then to gain my trust.

8.  Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more than just friendship.  He/she is falling in love with you.  What do you (or did you) say?

~ I really don't have a best friend so it doesn't matter! I'm very much a loner in this lifetime.

9.  Think of the last person you know who died.  You have the chance to give them 1 hour more of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours.  Do you do it?  Why? Or Why not?

~ The last person I know who died was my wonderful Aunt Jeannie who passed away in August, 2011. I would give them one hour more of life back so that she could tell everyone that she loves them. She couldn't speak the last couple days of her life and I know she would have had a lot to say to her family and friends.

10.  Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?

~ I believe so, I'd love to have me as a friend!

11.  Does love = sex?

~ Absolutely Not!!!

12.  Your boss tells your co-worker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee.  You have been there much longer.  Your co-worker has a family to support and no other means of income.  Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company?  Why or Why not.

~ No, because I am single, on my own, in major debt due to medical bills, and I currently know what it's like to live on very low disability pay with nothing to their name

13.  When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say?  What did you have to tell the person?

~ I told my favorite chef that his food ROCKS! And that was ABSOLUTELY HONESTLY said!

14.  What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a member of the opposite/same sex – you love them or that you do not love them back.

~ That I don't love them back. I would only tell someone that I love them after we've spent a lot of time together, we've been friends for a long time, and we basically already show each other how we feel through our actions.

1) Lorde has said this song is about a time when she fell into "a bad crowd." Her high-maintenance new friends were all about their romantic dramas and it overwhelmed her. Have you ever had a friend who was just too much work?

~ Nope

2) She sings that she longs to be alone. Where do you go when you want peace and quiet?

~ I live alone! I just wish I could find a place to vey away from myself!

3) Lorde credits her mother for encouraging her verbal skills. "Mum" let her join a theater class when she was just 5 and was always giving her books. Tell us about an encouraging, understanding adult who assisted you when you were growing up.

~ When I was in grade school, I remember sitting in my dad's bedroom with him, reading to him from his books about carburators and car things. Often I didn't know what I was saying, but he was encouraging and happy I was working out the "tough words"!

4) Lorde is not the only celebrity from her class at Belmont School in Auckland, New Zealand. Olympian Eliza McCartney was a classmate who went on to win a bronze medal in Rio for the pole vault. Did you participate in any sports in high school?

~ Nope, nada, zilch!

6) Lorde wrote music for one of the Hunger Gamessoundtracks. Have you seen any of the Hunger Games movies, or read any of the books?

~ My niece lent me the book to read a couple years ago, I still haven't. I've seen bits and pieces of the first movie but definitely not the whole thing, and definitely none of the follow-ups, though the movies seem like they could be good and I''d would like them.

7) Her favorite candy is Peanut M&Ms. Do you prefer Milk Chocolate, Peanut, Almond, Mint or Cripsy M&Ms?

~  All Of Them!!!
...But, yes, I'd have to say that peanut M&Ms are my Very Favorite too!

8) When Lorde was on stage at Lollapalooza, a sudden storm interrupted her set. The music festival was evacuated and her performance was cancelled. Can you think of a time when the weather had a major impact on your plans?

~ When I was a child, I LOVED going to an amusement park island between Michigan and Canada called Bob-Lo Island. We always went once a year, every summer. Time went on, the kids in my family (5 of us) became teens, and we started to grow individually. We were planning on going together as a family one last time, it rained that day and my mom said we wouldn't be going. That upset me to no end. It really only rained earlier that day, the rest of the day was fine. That was years ago, almost 40, but I'll always wish we could have went one more time!

~ From this past week? Nothing I could think of!

4. What was the most recent ceremony you attended?

~ The most recent ceremony I attended, if I recall correctly, was my sister's wedding in August, 1999

~ Do egg rolls and fortune cookies count?
