Sunday Stealing: Tea and Q & A

This is from a questionnaire called "Tea and Q&A" that I found on SwapBot

1. What is your middle name and what is a middle name you'd rather have instead? Why?

~  My middle name is Margaret and I wouldn't want it to be anything else! I love the name Margaret, that was my grandmother's name, it is also my Goddaughter's middle name.

2. How would you spend $1MM (you have to spend every penny!)

~ If given $1,000,000 to spend, I would use it by traveling to places around the world that I always wanted to see, I would buy a new car, I would move into a new condo, I would donate funds to the Michigan Humane Society, I would take classes in all sorts of assorted subjects, I would dine at Sublimation, the list goes on...

3. Yellow light - speed up or slow down??

~ Depends on where I'm heading, how I'm feeling at the time, where I'm at. If I'm about to head in front of a barbecue restaurant, I'll definitely slow down

4. What was the last movie you saw and what did you like/dislike about it?

~ The latest movie I've seen has been Winchester. It was OK, but I was really looking forward to it and hoping it would have been much better. It is a movie based on the mysterious Winchester Mansion, a location that interests me very much. If there was more information about the true background of Winchester and not just a movie based on it, I would have enjoyed it much more.

5. If a movie was made about you, who would portray you in that movie?

~ Helena Bonham Carter

6. What is the strangest thing you've eaten and what did it taste like?

~ The strangest thing I've ever eaten has been duck blood soup. It tasted exactly like beet soup, which was basically what it was. I've also been to a restaurant where I got peanut butter soup, it was OK, just very very very very very creamy.

7. What color is your bathroom?

~ Off-white

8. If you could vacation anywhere in the world RIGHT NOW, where would it be and why?

~ If I could go anywhere in the world right now, and had the $2000 for a dinner, I would go to the island of Ibiza, Spain, where I could have a dining experience at Sublimotion.

9. What is your least favorite thing to cook?

~ Spaghetti with mushrooms

10. What is the dish you make that your family rolls their eyes at?

~ I live alone, I don't  have a family to cook for. I never see my family that I grew up with anymore (well, maybe once a year or so), so I never cook for them

11. What are three things on your bucket list?

1. Spend an entire weekend just riding all the roller coasters at Cedar Point over and over
2. Own another car someday
3. Be able to drive my car, a convertible PT Cruiser, again. I haven't been able to drive it for 3 years and it sits outside my condo.

12. How many skeins of yarn do you think you are currently hoarding?

~ 0,  and this I know for sure!

13. Today is my birthday. What virtual gift are you going to give me?

~ In your name, I am going to learn and donate 1000 pieces of rice on Free Rice

14. What is your favorite candy?

~ My favorite candy are Big Kat bars, and anything with toffee

15. What is your favorite time of the day and why?

~  Night time, I love sleeping and I usually have a really good dream

16. If you could call in sick for a day, what would you do with the time?

~ I don't work, I'm on disibility.

17. How much did your last crafting run cost you?

~  That was a long long long time ago, probably in the '90s I really can't remember.

18. Can you play a musical instrument and if so, which one?

~ Nope

19. What is your least favorite craft that you still do? Why?

~  I don't do any crafts anymore, I realized I enjoyed starting too many things but I never got around to completing them

20. If you could have any job for just one day, what would it be and what would you do?

~  I would be a ghost investigator, I would go to haunted locations to seek out information and try to connect with the spirits that are there

~ Sunday Stealing

  1. Duck blood soup? Who would name a soup that?? At least give it a better sounding name. lol
I would have been right there with you for the coasters at Cedar Point, but any jarring ride is a thing of the past thanks to degenerative disk disease...too hard on my neck. I did love them back in the day, though.

  2. I loved roller coasters but get vertigo easily (darn aging!) and can't really go on any rides like that.

  3. Free Rice is great! I "donate" to them. I like your ghost investigator thing. Hope you get to drive your little car soon. At least for just a little spin or two. Sweet dreams forever, I'd wish you that if it were YOUR birthday....
