Wednesday Hodgepodge #342
1. Where do you go when you need some inspiration?
~ To sleep, where I usually have good dreams. To my journal, where I can write, write, write until I can think clearly again. To the movies, where I can ponder life watching a movie and crunch on popcorn.
2. What's under your bed?
~ I really kinda don't have a bed any longer, I live alone and exist in my living room. God only knows what's under my sofa though!
3. Thursday, February 22nd is National Chili Day, National Margarita Day, and National Cook a Sweet Potato Day. Of the three which would you most like to celebrate? Is that likely?
~ National Chili Day! I love it! Frozen margaritas can be out drink at the celebration. I love those too (but only the frozen ones!)
4. What are you 'snowed under' with right now?
~ My own laziness and lack of drive, which is just as much of a life destroyer than inches upon inches of snow.
5. Tell us three to five things that make you feel balanced?
~ Eating once or twice a week at The Atrium. It's the only place I really eat any meals any more, usually during the week I pick up a muffin here, oatmeal there, but never a true meal.
~ Visiting the crew at The Atrium. The only places I get to during the week are dialysis and medical appointments (unless I find myself lucky enough to make it to a theater). I haven't driven for almost three years. I miss going places just for fun or to hang out. I love visiting the folks at The Atrium.
~ Going to see movies. I LOVE going to see movies and get my mind off my surroundings, and chomp on popcorn while doing so. I get Lyft cabs to drive me back and forth, but this is dishing out an extra $20 for this girl, who is basically running on empty!
6. Insert your own random thought here.
~ I love seeing so much of the winter snow melt away today while this magical 60" weather has kicked in! I know it's only for a short time though, winter isn't done with Jack Frost yet!
